The Anti-Waste Pact

The portal's partner restaurants join the Anti-Waste Pact and follow shared guidelines to reduce food waste, reuse raw materials and manage surplus. They are recognisable by the "Friend of the M.E.D. Living Lab — Zero Waste" badge.

By joining the pact, restaurants in Pioppi and the wider area — such as the Pizzeria Il Galeone and other partners — commit to measuring and cutting waste, prioritising KM 0 suppliers and offering guests eco-friendly options for leftovers. An ecosystem linking restaurateurs, producers and guests around the Mediterranean Diet.
